It lasted for an hou-ou-our
Anyone who:
Is rushing to finishing cleaning the shower before his in-laws arrive for the week,
And gets a call to say they are going to arrive early,
And decides that the only way to get it done in time is to strip off, jump in the shower, turn the shower on and rinse the Shower Power off the screens all at once,
And then decides he may as well wipe down the taps while he is doing this,
And wonders why the shower is suddenly hellishly cold,
Is an idiot.

Could have been worse; could have been hot!
Well fine. Call me an idiot then... because yes, I have found myself in that position more than once... when an OCD fit overtakes me and suddenly I'm wiping down the skirting boards in the bathroom clad only in a towel (in the PG version anyways)...
Doesn't everyone clean this way?
It's certainly the preferred method in our house.
Except at the moment, while I am wonder woman of pre-Christmas preparation lists, hampered only by the LYING LYING LYING!!!! on (insert book shop visited on last trip to Melbourne) web site that they had a book in stock, the PERFECT book MARKED DOWN BY HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS that is now out of stock.
Er, excuse me. I need to go lie down now.

Worse? Yes. Dumber? No

I'm completely naked in this post. How come you get to go all PG?
Giggles
It's not the attire that concerns me, more the ill advised tap scrubbing.
Next time I pass that bookshop, I shall hiss on your behalf.
heh.
I love Before Sunrise/Sunset also. So moving.
Ms Sunday
I must say that I greatly preferred Sunrise to Sunset, since one is beautifully optimistic and the other isn't. Still, Sunset is well worth watching for the sheer raw realness of Julie Delpy's outburst in that scene where they are driving from the river to her apartment.
Also, are you aware that you have the most poetically perfect and hardest to comment upon blog in the world?
I watch Delpy because she's beautiful and something of an idol. The rawness is amazing isn't it? I can't think of movies that compare in that regard. Any suggestions?
Ha! I didn't know that! Don't feel shy to comment though, it's nice to know who drops by.
ps. ahem. I may have changed my name...again.
Ms Greenaway
I have been thinking about it for a couple of hours and no, I cannot think of any other movie that tops 'Sunset' in that regard. It's possible that Hayden Christensen in "Life as a House" may be a worthy challenger.
If I think of any more, I'll post them.
I think your new name is every bit as good as the last one, but I don't want to get too attached to it just yet.
