There's a world outside every darkened door
Where blues won't haunt you anymore
Where the brave are free and lovers soar
Come ride with me to the distant shore
Thanks for the hugs and amusing comments of ghosts and general niceness.
I've finished moping about my apparent inability to buy so much as a caravan in Emerald, let alone an actual house anywhere closer to the CBD than New Zealand, and the recent lack of blogging is more due to other commitments such as repairing the grout in my shower (Yes, seriously. I am more surprised by this than anyone).
This weekend will feature the celebration of my son's third birthday, the assembling of a swing set and a visit from my mother-in-law so it's possible that things are likely to be a little quiet around here for a few more days.

oh crap.
it was probably ghost-infested anyway.
Oh no! ;(
I'd recommend keeping off auctions, it's been my experience that most house owners who sell via that means want more than their house is worth.
It's much more reasonable when you can work something out by negotiation. ;)
However here in the country, nobody ever shows up to a house auction and they tend to get cancelled, so you have a much better chance.
