And so it begins...

Yes folks, this is how far I am willing to go to see the back of this government. I have been wearing, in public, this:

Hint of chest hair entirely blogger's own.

The happy news is that, despite the debacle that we like to call 'last week', yesterday's Newspoll showed a small increase in Kevin's disapproval rating, an even small drop in his approval rating, and absolutely no change in Labor's primary vote, its two party preferred vote, or the gap between the leaders on the preferred PM scale.

We got ourselves a game right here, folks.

As Kirsten Dunst is so fond of saying, BRING IT ON.

I hate to say it mate but I think this is already a done deal. The clueless will get to the polls and vote to keep the status quo. Polls schmolls.

If I could vote to publicly hang both the PM candidates? I'd run, not walk to the booth. Barefoot. Over glass and hot coals.

But having to actually vote for one of them to do the PM job? I'd rather vote for getting a pineapple shoved up my rear end. I'm not joking. I think they're BOTH nitwits.

The West Wing has completely spoiled me for politicians. I want a Jed Bartlet. I want a Vinnick. I want a Santos. I want a Leo McGarry. These guys? They look like idiots compared to those guys.

I feel disillusioned, and in need of a stiff drink, and I want to bury my head in the sand and pretend we have decent candidates worthy of voting for..

I moved to Wordpress, by the way. ;)

Cheers,

Snosky

Having just bought seasons 3 & 4, I'm so with you on the West Wing thing.

I have to say though that despite my rather public crossness with K07, he's still the first candidate worth voting for since Keating last ran for election. Admittedly, that's not hard when the rest of the field consists of Howard, Beazley and Latham, but I am, for the first time in 11 years, actually looking forward to an election.

NO I DID NOT SEE THE 7.30 REPORT. PLEASE TELL ME MORE IMMEDIATELY

ALSO, I'M SURE HE LOVES YOU TOO IT'S JUST THAT ELECTION CAMPAIGNS ARE A BUSY TIME AND HE'LL CATCH YOU ON THE FLIP SIDE.

I wore my Kev07 t-shirt to the gym and NO-ONE said anything. I was really surprised.

Thanks. I will check it out, right now.

Really? I wore mine to the Diamond Valley Railway and got enough comments for a whole post.

Which may appear soon.
